Some days Tikilene feels we need a little extra assistance in our Haitian pronunciation. No matter how slow she goes, we just can't pick up what she's laying down, so to the board we go.
The problem is, as much as this sweetheart wants us to learn, she starts writing in French.
We say, "Wait a minute, isn't that French?"
We tell her we don't know French.
She says, "Yeah well, you'll get the idea. Listen. Cheri (honey). Follow me. See? See?"
It's just a really nice way of saying, "Please quit hacking my language, Blanc."
